OLYMPIC MADNESS - ASAFA A D'WEET!

Asafa Powell, one of the two fastest men alive, is a proud Jamaican.  His love for the sport and his anxiety over pleasing his Jamaican audience, caused him to under-perform in some world events.  However, Asafa's resilience and prowess were evident in his stellar, record-breaking performance in the 4 X100 meter relay in Beijing.  Asafa was determined to return to Jamaica with a gold medal and at the same time force the world into a state of self-induced amnesia (with regards to the male 100 meter finals).  Mission accomplished, Asafa!  Now, even if we don't forget his performance in the male 100 meter finals; his performance in the 4 X 100 meter will force even his harshest critics to acquiesce and give him his rightful place on the 'Track Throne.'  Click the link and watch Asafa show seh him naw linga!

OLYMPIC FEVER -TO BOLTNEET!

Like any Jamaican who is not in a coma, it is hard not to jump on the band-wagon and catch the Olympic Fever.... The fastest man in the world is a product of Jamaica and lives in Trelawny, so look out for LIGHTNING BOLT HIGHWAY and join me in wishing Usain Bolt a Happy Birthday on August 21 as crosses into 22.

What you are seeing at the 2008 Summer Olympics, in Beijing, China, is a demonstration of the greatness of Jamaica. Jamaica is a first-class, first-world, naturally great country. Plan a trip to Jamaica and see Jamaica for yourself. Don't keep Jamaica waiting.
